Levels 1-3: English-Spanish Content

In these podcasts, you’ll first hear the English version so you'll always understand what’s being said, followed by the Spanish translation. This makes them ideal for beginner to intermediate Spanish learners.

These levels are perfect for those who haven’t learned a single word of Spanish yet, as well as for learners who already know vocabulary and grammar rules but want to expand their word bank or simply hear how Spanish sounds in real conversations, natural contexts, and everyday speech.

Level 1 features short, simple sentences. The topics remain engaging and thought-provoking (not childish or overly simplified) the language is just simpler and easier to follow.

Level 2 introduces longer sentences and a richer vocabulary, helping you gradually strengthen your comprehension skills and expand your word knowledge.

Level 3 translates two to three sentences at a time, training your memory and comprehension to handle longer chunks of Spanish after hearing the English version.

Levels 4 to 6:

In these podcasts, you’ll first hear the Spanish version, followed by the English translation, making them ideal for intermediate to advanced Spanish learners.

Because you hear the Spanish first, it’s best to start these once you already understand about half of what’s being said, so you won’t feel overwhelmed. The English that follows then confirms your guesses about any new words and reinforces what you’ve understood.

Listening in this order—Spanish first, then English—is especially effective for learners who aren’t yet ready for full Spanish immersion. It trains your mind to think in Spanish before relying on English for clarification.

Level 4 features short, simple sentences with clear pronunciation and everyday language.

Level 5 includes longer sentences and more sophisticated vocabulary.

Level 6 translates several sentences at a time, training your memory and comprehension to follow longer stretches of natural Spanish speech.
