There are two things Lily loves most: journeying into magical worlds through stories, and petting every sweet, fluffy creature she meets (cats, dogs, bunnies, horses, sheep, lonely strays, and everything from poodles to pit bulls). She once tried petting a goat and a bull too… but apparently, they weren’t cuddle fans.
At sixteen, she even got engaged to a Ridgeback dog. Unfortunately, he never said “I do”… or agreed to wear the tiny tuxedo she bought him.
Even though she’s technically an “adult” now (ugh), she’s kept her entire collection of childhood toys—and continues to write new, exciting adventures starring them.
How many bears does she have? No one knows. She lost count somewhere in the early 2000s.
Her favorite hobby? Dressing up and helping shy kids come out of their shells in the most magical way: by creating improvised theater stories together.
